95% of all religions taught are in error of what they teach. Does this seem right or wrong? Did you know that after studying, listening to & reading numerous types of religious teachers & teachings..it is sad to say I think the number is actually higher. The reason being is simple. How many religions are there in the world? Wikipedia says there are at least 10,000. That's one religion for every belief, whether it's a belief in God or in satan, they all count as a religion. So, using that number, how many churches are there in the world? Google says there are at least 37 million, with more popping up daily. Now heres the clincher: God has only One Truth, His own. Jesus taught only One gospel, His own. Now, how many of these religions & churches are teaching God's truth? All of them? Half of them? Some of them? The answer is...only a few of them, more like a handful. So, how do you distinguish the truth from the falsehoods? Simple. You read God's word aka The Bible, put it into correct context, letting it prove itself over & over & as they say, 'the truth is in the pudding'.

If you're still reading, there is a good chance you either want to know the truth, you are searching for the truth...or, your just curious where this is going. All we ask is for you to keep reading, open your heart & mind & pray that God give you wisdom & understanding.

Oh yes, forget everything you've been taught & leave your ego at the door, it's only going to get in the way. 

The following statement(s), are not what you have been taught in Sunday school, church, or by your parents, etc. But if you read very carefully & think about what you are reading, you will begin to understand the truth. 

(NOTE: Highly important details will be stressed in 'bold text', please pay very close attention to these bullet points).

1. Although Jesus' death, burial & resurrection has given everyone the opportunity of an eternal life in heaven, Jesus did not come for everyone in the beginning. Matthew 15:24 clearly says, 'I am not sent but unto the House of Israel.' Which means, Jesus only came to save the Hebrew Nation as they were God's chosen people (Deuteronomy 7:6) for 4,000 years. But because they rejected God at every turn, God finally rejected them for an appointed time & gave eternal salvation to the Gentiles during the church age or what many christians refer to as the period of grace. The following illustration shows Jesus' 3 year Ministry.

2. Now, because the Jewish people rejected God the Father & His Son, Jesus, He decided to give what was to be for the Jews, to the Gentiles. In order to do that, Jesus had to pay the ultimate price in order to save all of humanity (both Jew & Gentile), salvation would only be given to those who would choose God as their God & Jesus, as the Son of God. He did this by calling Paul the Apostle to be the minister to the Gentiles (Romans 15:14-33). Jesus called Paul on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-9), to preach the gospel of faith & faith alone to the Gentiles in order for them to attain salvation. This new gospel would be the new covenant made between God & the Gentiles for a period of 2000 years, otherwise known as the church age & the period of God's Grace on humanity (Acts 20:24). The following illustration shows the church age under Paul the Apostle.

To know the answer to this question, you need to know the difference between Jew & Gentile. A Jew is considered to be anyone of Jewish ancestry. A Gentile is anyone who isn't a Jew. Herein lies our problem as believers - And this is what you need to understand in order to get both the gospel correct & salvation correct. Getting either one wrong may decide where you spend your eternity. There are 7 to 8 gospels preached in the Bible depending to what you prescribed to. As a Gentile, you are...or should be living under the gospel of God's Grace preached by Paul the Apostle (Acts 20:24), which is Believing by 'Faith & Faith Alone.' And even though we are given our salvation by the unselfish act Jesus did on Calvary's cross, we cannot live under His gospel because it was specifically for the Jews which taught a 'Faith & Works' type of Gospel. This is why Paul said 'our covenant' is a much better covenant of all the covenants God has made with man (Hebrews 8:6). So...'Why & How' do so many people get it wrong?

1. People teach what they have been taught whether right or wrong until it becomes their belief engrained inside of them.

2. The People who taught them, were only teaching what they were taught... sadly this cycle has continued for decades upon decades, which accounts for alot of wrong, misguided or false teaching, theology & doctrine being preached in the ministry.

And as I always say... Don't go to a welder to learn how to swim, your just going to end up learning how to weld.

There are other factors for why people get it wrong, but these reasons are more on the side of human nature than unwillful knowledge. The reasons are: profit, greed, ego, a big following & name recognition. This is where we must be careful in that we do not fall into this trap, afterall...we are talking about the souls & spirits & where they will spend their eternity.

This website also helps clarify what true salvation really means & how to explain it to the non-believer. This is the basics of Christianity & the gospel for today's Christian. Use it as a reference as well as a reminder whenever you have questions or are doubting your salvation & even as a witnessing tool. The fifth page will be an on-going study course that will change week to week beginning the 1st of November, it will start with the basics of what every Christian should know & it will take you through both the Old & New Testaments explaining much of it in detail, so not only will it be a study course, but it will be a learning tool for those of you who want to know more about this life & the one to come.
