Lesson 1: The Father, Son & Holy Spirit

How to explain the Trinity.

The Trinity: A three part being.

The Trinity: A three part being.

The Trinity explained.

In the illustration above, you will see God (in the center), who is a three part spiritual being. The three are illustrated in the drawing above as if to be surrounding Him, when in reality, they are an extention of Him. The three consist of: the Father, the Son (Jesus) & the Holy Spirit, but to actually explain the Trinity you have to understand the constraints & limits of each spiritual being & how the three are one as well as being one in three.

Follow closely.

1.God is: the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit.

2. the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit are: God.

3. the Father is not: the Son nor the Holy Spirit.

4. the Son is not: the Father nor the Holy Spirit.

5. the Holy Spirit is not: the Father nor the Son.

6. The three are One & the One are all three.

7. These three make up the Trinity. These three are God. While man can always make up god's,  no one has ever made God, for He always was. And because He always was-the Father, Son & Holy Spirit, They have always been & They will always be.

How wise are you?

How wise are you?

Today's golden nugget.

The maggai, or three wise men who sought to find the baby that was laying in a manger, were not wise in intellect or having profound wisdom of some sort, nor were they geniuses with an over abundance of IQ. No..they were ordinary men, lifted up by mortal men, who put on their pants just like any other man, as the saying goes.

What made these men different from other men was that they went in search of the Messiah, the Christ. This is what made them wise. This too is the beginning of wisdom for you, the moment you sought out to find Christ & the moment you chose to accept His wonderful gift of salvation, these two decisions alone makes you a wise man/woman.

It's knowing you can't do it alone & being smart enough to figure out there is One who will always be there for you, cheering you on...One who will never leave you.

That's wisdom.
