Think about it...everytime you purchase new car, a new appliance, a new tool, whatever the case may be, it always comes with an 'owners manual'...why? Answer: To gain knowledge of what you have been handed. 

So...since God gave you life by creating you, isn't it only fair that He give you everything your going to need to know about everything your going to need to know about? Which is what exactly the Bible is...it talks about love, sex, how the world began, how the world will end, life, death, zombies, aliens, spaceships...everything you will ever want to know, are curious to find out or have ever wondered about. God even alludes to many things to make your mind wander, think about or to even get you to talk to Him. 

So yes, the Bible is your owners manual in life, but it is so much more if you will only take the time to read it & understand how it was written, why it was written in the way it was & why it is filled with mysteries, parables for you to think about & life lessons to learn from. 

So if you want a murder mystery-read the Bible. If you want a romance novel-read the Bible. Want a Military Strategy course-read the Bible. Whatever your looking for, it's in the bible. 

Science is proving everyday that the Bible is truly accurate. Archeologist are proving the places mentioned in the bible really existed. Astronomers look to the Bible before looking up at the sky. Geologist find rare earth minerals only mentioned in the bible. The Medical Community prove Biblical treatments & cures do work. What are you wanting to find? You just may find it in the bible. 

Finally, the Bible is the Word of God. How do I know? Who else would say or claim they created mankind & the animals of the earth? Who else would claim to know the beginning from the end? To be the first & the last? To know every hair on your head & know their numbers? Who else would claim they are the King of kings & Lord of lords? Who else could make blind men see again, the lame walk & the deaf hear? Who else could feed 500-5000 people with a single fish & a couple of loaves of bread & still have leftovers? Who else would die for a sinner like you & me out of love for us? Answer: No one I know but My Father in Heaven. And if He can do all this & so much more, then yes, He is my God & His Word is in my bible & this is how He speaks to me, how He teaches me, how He reprimands me & how he loves me. 

This is how I know that He is the one true God. And that His word is true. Both never change, because they don't need too. They are perfect in every way. But...take heed. His word is likened to a two-edged sword. It will either save you or condemn you. It's your ticket to heaven or a fast track to hell. It will soften & change your heart or turn your heart into stone. It will cut you & watch you bleed to death or it will heal & preserve you. It will open your heart & mind to the wonderful & good, or close it up to the evil that lurks within you. It will tell you the truth even if you don't want to hear it, or tell you lies you'll love to believe. It will read your heart & mind, feeding it what it desires. It will reveal the ugly in you & create something beautiful, or it will ravage your beauty & leave it ugly. It will only do what your heart & mind tell it.
